Happiness

Almost 50 years ago I read Aristotle’s book: Ethics; in that book Aristotle pointed out that the highest level of Ethics was the attainment of happiness.

I defined what the word HAPPINESS meant; it was a state of well-being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy

I also defined WORK as an activity with a purpose
– Drudgery was an activity without purpose.

It became very obvious to me that if you were not living your dream – you were off purpose. Not a happy producing state.

If you were not doing what you loved to do – it would be hard to stay focused – also it would make you very miserable.

Our ZONES and MOOD SCALES are in fact scales of Levels of HAPPINESS – the higher up the Zones and the higher mood you are in – the HAPPIER you are.

The fact we have the ZONES and MOOD SCALES is a tremendous accomplishment – for we have a way to predict the future as well as predict whether we are growing and enhancing ourselves.
